Whats in store for Paige after her return?
Paige and the Four Horsewomen
The Women’s revolution has been a thing to behold in the WWE. The Four Horsewomen have taken women’s wrestling to a whole new level. However, along with these 4 women, another wrestler, Paige has contributed immensely to this change in the WWE. Currently on a hiatus due to multiple issues, whats in store for Paige after her return?
Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Bayley and Becky Lynch have been the pillars of women’s wrestling in WWE. However, long before the revolution begun, it was the introduction of Paige that drew massive attention.

Paige – a top draw in the WWE
After a steady run in the WWE in which she held the Divas Championship two times, Paige’s career has gone downhill. Following a series of accidents, mishaps, injuries and a controversial relationship. Paige has been out of action for over an year.
Paige quickly Rose to stardom by becoming the youngest Divas champion in history. She was good both in the ring and on the microphone which evoked massive reaction from the audience. She also had a memorable feud with AJ Lee for the championship.
Her rapid decline
However, things started going from bad to worse from July, 2016. She first violated WWE’s wellness policy twice and then underwent a neck surgery. Moreover, going public about her relationship with ex WWE wrestler, Alberto Del Rio worsened the situation.
Alberto has been frequently disparaging WWE since his release and Paige has been caught up in this turmoil. She was also reportedly seen attending an TNA Impact event wearing a luchador mask. An airport altercation and leak of explicit videos has also further spoilt her relationship with WWE.
What’s in store for Paige now?
Hence, the question remains as to what’s in store for Paige after her return? Will she be pushed to the top where she belonged or will she be relegated to the midcard. The arrival of the unbeaten NXT women’s champion Asuka to WWE won’t help her case either.
Irrespective of how she is booked, the WWE Universe will be eagerly awaiting Paige’s return to the squared circle. Hopefully, she will be able to continue her dream run in her second stint as well.
