Bayley says her onscreen chemistry with Finn Balor got her into trouble in her past relationship

Bayley says her onscreen chemistry with Finn Balor got her into trouble in her past relationship. The two were rumored to be dating.

It is not uncommon for fans to wonder who their favourite Superstars’ significant others are. Sometimes they even wish for two of their favourites to get together because of their chemistry. This is exactly what happened with Finn Balor and Bayley.

Bayley recently appeared on Renee Paquette’s Oral Sessions podcast. The former WWE announcer told her guest that one of the most searched question on google about her was whether she was married to Balor. Bayley denied ever dating the current NXT Champion. She spoke about how the rumors began and which incident led to trouble with her ex.

Bayley says her onscreen chemistry with Finn Balor got her into trouble in her past relationship

“It wasn’t even a storyline, we kind of made it ourselves on NXT. He sprained his ankle and he wasn’t having a match. Everybody thought that it would be funny if I did his entrance because of my character. Then they just loved it so much and we got so much love on YouTube when someone posted it. He did my entrance.”

“And then, they started teaming us up for matches in NXT. So, we just kind of rolled with that because everybody liked it. I think it is because I was such a different character and he was like the Demon. Seeing us together was just insane. One time, I had gotten into trouble for this in my past relationship. We took a picture with his [Finn Balor] parents when we were backstage. And then people went ‘Oh my god! are you really together?'”

Bayley denied the rumors once again, adding that Balor was happily married to another woman.

“We are obviously not married. He is married to a beautiful woman and he seems so happy. That was so fun, we had so much with each other and then we got to be Mixed Match Challenge partners.”

As mentioned by Bayley, the two had amazing chemistry with each other back in NXT and were consistently paired with each other. However, the two haven’t crossed paths as often during their main roster runs. They teamed up with during the Mixed Match Challenge but that is all.

Balor has since moved back to NXT so it is unlikely that the two will pair up any time soon. Unless, Balor loses the NXT title at TakeOver: Stand and Deliver and comes back to the main roster as part of SmackDown.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
