The Great American Bash makes a comeback in the WWE, this time in the form of an NXT event. It is two-week special, whose first part underwent today. 

After 11-years The Great American Bash returned with its 8th edition and NXT is the only brand it got associated with. And here are the Night 1 results.

• Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match (No. 1 Contender) – Mia Yim vs Tegan Nox vs Candice LeRae vs Dakota Kai
• Strap Match – Dexter Lumis vs Roderick Strong
• Handicap Match – Rhea Ripley vs Aliyah and Robert Stone
• Oney Lorcan vs Timothy Thatcher

And the main event

• Fatal Four-Way Elimination  match to determine the number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship

Result: Tegan Nox defeated Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai, and Mia Yim

 

•  Timothy Thather VS. Oney Lorcan

Result: Timothy Thatcher defeated Oney Lorcan by submission

•  Rhea Ripley VS. Aliyah and Robert Stone, Handicap match

Result: Rhea Ripley won by submission

• Dexter Lumis vs Roderick Strong- Strap Match

Result: Dexter Lumis won by submission

•  Io Shirai vs. Sasha Banks (with Bayley)

Result: Io Shirai pinned Sasha Banks, after an interference by Asuka
