“Chris Paul Had the Kardashian Curse This Whole Time”: Twitter User Blames CP3’s Playoffs Failure on Kim K After Kanye West’s Revelation
Phoenix Suns point guard Chris Paul has perhaps etched his name into NBA history for his incredibly vast array of skills and playmaking over the past 14 years.
The 37-year-old was selected as the fourth overall pick in the 2005 NBA draft and has accumulated a stellar career. CP3 has a ton of individual accolades, including 12 NBA All-Star appearances, amongst numerous other achievements.
Paul has played for a myriad of franchises which include the New Orleans Pelicans, Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder, and the Phoenix Suns as over the past two years.
However, the ‘point god’ also has several blemishes on his resume, which has often gone under the radar in comparison to certain other talents who have been prosecuted by the media on a monthly.
With controversial figure Kanye West posting about Paul and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian last night, NBA Twitter has decided to have a laugh about the scenario.
Chris Paul has ironically had his substandard playoff record blamed on the Kardashian!
Prior to his recent ban on Twitter last night, Kanye West had posted a photo that implied that Paul and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian had an affair between them.
West has been going on these public rants as of late, which has seen him lose his wife Kim Kardashian and a number of endorsements with high-profile brands.
Once this became public knowledge, NBA Twitter was lit ablaze. And certain users have taken to the bird app to state that Paul’s inferior playoff record is due to his relationship with Kardashian, pointing out the multiple failed playoff leads that he has blown.

Chris Paul’s poor playoff record!
It’s common knowledge that the Sun’s guard has not been able to transcend his regular season performances into the playoffs to help his organization clinch their championship aspirations.
Over the years he has lost playoff series on six separate occasions while being in a winning position. The 11-time ‘All-NBA’ player is yet to win an NBA championship having played in the league for over 13 years.
The foremost he reached in the postseason was when he graced the NBA Finals in 2021, but was sent packing in six games, as he blew yet another ‘2-0’ lead to the Milwaukee Bucks.
Whether or not it’s the Kardashian curse, the fact remains that Paul has indeed got to burden more responsibility onto his shoulder if he’s on such a lucrative contract.
